ein Update für parallels, jetzt geht auch Vista, aber ohne aero. Leopard Support und diverse USB Fixes.

sind aber irgendwie keine neuen features oder? die gabs schon in der letzten beta glaub ich

imho ist usb 2.0 neu und auf jeden fall drag&drop. Ist auch merklich
schneller, einfach drüberbügeln, erfordert aber neustart.

Hätte ich mal die Finger von dem Update gelassen!

Bei mir kriecht jetzt XP unter einer Auflöäsung von 640x480 in 4 Bit Farbtiefe rum und ich bekomme es nicht hin dies zu ändern! Immer wenn ich versuche unter Anzeigeneinstllungen das zu ändern und ich auf übernehmen klicke, springt alles wieder in die 640x480 4 bit einstellungen zurück. Der Paralles Video Karte habe ich 32 MB Ram zugeteilt.

Hat wer von Euch einen Tip, wie ich mein XP unter Parallels wieder auf 1024 x 768 in 16 oder 32 bit bekomme?

Ja, Du musst die Parallels-Tools installieren. Das geht über das Menü. Dann bekommst Du den grafiktreiber etc installiert und Windows sollte schneller laufen als vorher.

Tja... funktioniert bei mir leider nicht... Habe die VMTools nun mehrmals über das Menü installiert und leider gibt es keine Beserung. Ich versuche mal, die VMTools erst zu deinstallieren und dann neu aufzuspielen. Vielleicht hilft das...

So.. nachdem ich die VMTools deinstlliert habe habe ich wieder ein vernünftiges Bild unter Parallels und kann auch meine gewünschte Auflösung fahren... Nur leider nicht mehr Drag + Drop etc....

Hmm,

wenn Du Parallels getartet hast, check mal welche Versionsnummer Du hast (Menü>Ablage>Über parallels)

Wie kann ich rausfinden, ob die Tools dazu passen?

Normalerweise sagt Parallels schon von selbst sowas wie "ihre tools sind nicht aktuell, das kann probleme machen bitte die neuen Tools installieren". Wenn man dann über das menü von Parallels die Tools installiert sobald die vmachine mit Windows läuft ist eigentlich alles ok

So.. nun habe ich das wieder in den Griff bekommen...

Vielleicht für jemanden interessant, der das gleich Problem hat:

1. Parallel Tools installiert -> nach Neustart ist die Bildauflöäsung grausig
2. Unter XP im Gerätemanager habe ich den Parallels Video Treiber gelöscht -> nach Neustart laufen die Parallel Tools mit Maus Synchronisation etc UND die Bildauflösung ist prima.
3. XP findet die Grafikkarte "Parallels Video Driver". Nach automatischer Suche des optimalen Treibers und Neustart läuft alles so, wie es soll.

Komisch, dass das anders nicht ging.
