Darktable ist auf dem Stand von 0.9, habe es soeben via Update eingespielt bekommen. Hoffentlich wird der Bug gefixed, das es nicht mehr crashed, und auch jener, das ich nach dem Dateien Export als JPG keinen leeren Bildschirm mehr habe...

(2011-06-01) we released version 0.9, with many new features:

run-time switchable opencl to exploit all the power of your GPU whenever you decide to install the driver
many new plugins, including a spot removal tool, better denoising (on raw pixels and non-local means) and many more
blend operations, overlay your plugin only 20 percent if you want
spot removal tool
low light vision tool
non-local-means denoising (relatively fast for nlmeans, but still slow)
first part of the google summer of code project already merged
framing plugin (adds postcard borders to match given aspect ratio)
tonemapping a lot faster now (probably the fastest high-dimensional bilateral filter available today)
changed images come with the darktable|changed tag

more updates to the page/install instructions to come, but you should be good by just extracting the tarball and typing ./build.sh. enjoy! and thanks to all our many contributors!

Bestes RAW Programm für Linux, aber in der Beziehung (Stabilität) leider nicht besser als 0.8. Die Jungs machen eben lieber neue Features
Aber immerhin, es soll demnächst ne echte "stable Version" geben

In den Ubuntu PPAs hab ichs auch gesehen... kann aber eigentlich nicht offiziell released sein, daher auch kein changelog

Jetzt ist es offiziell, hier die changelog:

with a few bugfixes on top of release 0.9. well, 184 patches really. some items:

* new rawspeed, dcraw, libraw
* fixed various segfaults and deadlocks
* the pipeline is now more real HDR (no more gamut clipping in between)
* fixed a nasty bug which could cause complete loss of history for an image
* darktable-faster now plays nicely with darktablerc (non-gconf)
* lots of opencl improvements
* updated translations
* second part of our GSoC: customizable keyboard shortcuts!

as always, thanks to our awesome community! you all make this
possible, especially when our core devs have little time.

this is one of a couple of stable releases we plan to do before
publishing cool new features in our unstable development branches, so
there is more to come soon.

not contain many very cool new features and big changes we have in
git, because we don't consider them stable enough yet. nontheless, it

 for 1.0rc2 a few weeks ago already, but for completeness, here it is again:

Also, a couple of caveats to keep in mind this time:

    We don't support fuji superccd at this point (more or less a simple fix, if you want
    to do it, contact us..)
    We disabled openmp by default for mac builds, as gcc on that platform seems to
    have some issues (<gcc 4.6, that is).
    We had to roll back libraw to <14.5, so the fuji X10 is not working at the moment.
    There have been issues with memory on 32-bit systems. seems to be okay
    currently, but something to keep in mind. use 64-bits if you can!

Das Programm ist mittlerweile wirklich gut benutzbar. Eines der besten FOSS Programme die es in dem Bereich gibt finde ich.

Stimmt! Auch wenn ich lieber noch Raw Therapee nutze zuweilen, allerdings mit Win. DT unter Linux. Heute Morgen war noch kein Changelog da.
